After a user enters a prompt, the system quickly generates a base image at 1024×1024 using Z-Image Turbo, and then directly outputs a high-definition image of approximately 4096×4096 via PiD's zimage / 2kto4k / scale 4 pipeline.

The core advantage of this workflow is: It is not regular upscaling, but PiD latent space enhancement. Regular upscaling typically enlarges images at the pixel level, which easily leads to blurriness, fake details, sharpened edges, and a plastic look; this workflow captures the latent and sigma required by PiD during the Z-Image Turbo sampling stage, and then has PiD perform 4K enhancement for more natural detail filling. It is suitable for high-resolution illustrations, dark fantasy covers, character posters, concept design, e-commerce key visuals, game art sketches, and print-grade materials.

The current workflow has been processed with Z-Image Turbo low-step calibration, with steps close to 8/9, a CFG of 1, combined with PiD's 4-step enhancement and aggressive cleanup, balancing speed, clarity, and VRAM control. When using, it is recommended to focus on controlling four items: Positive prompts determine the image content, the 1024 base resolution determines the 4K output quality, PiD Checkpoint type determines the enhancement mode, and sequential offload determines VRAM pressure.

Before publishing, it is recommended to note two points: First, the current output is 1024 base → 4K square. If you want to make landscape or portrait covers, you need to adjust the base latent width and height, and confirm whether PiD Checkpoint is stable for that aspect ratio; second, the negative prompt is currently empty. For public video applications, it is recommended to add default negative words to prevent text, watermarks, deformed structures, and low-quality edges from entering the final 4K image.
